One bedroom apartment is located in a new building near the center of Lviv. Work on the project began with changing the layout of the apartment.
Initially, the kitchen was separated from the living room, which limited the imagination and created inconvenience in planning. Instead of this, we demolished its non-load-bearing walls, added laundry facilities, and as a result we`ve got the right studio space, which is visible directly from the entrance to the apartment.
We preserved the concrete texture of the load-bearing structures as a decorative element,  that emphasize the idea of a mix of traditional and industrial.
The kitchen island is made of galvanized profile metal, it is movable and can be used in different scenarios. The kitchen front itself is solid black, the thin matte HPL countertop emphasizes the geometry of the kitchen. The large appliances are sewn into the furniture to the ceiling, that`s perceived as a monolithic white cube.
The bedroom has an interesting layout with an open wardrobe, that acts as a partition for room zones. The restrained shades of decoration demonstrate the balance of the interior design.
